In order to achieve this high level of quality it is important to have a well-functioning, state of the art manufacturing facility. Premier Doors was recently called upon by O-I to provide a solution and upgrade to the Spotswood facility in Melbourne Australia. Faced with ageing rapid doors and consistent problems with other brands including; wear, limited wind loading and slow operating speeds. O-I asked Premier Doors to provide the best High Speed Door solution available and a product that met with their demands and requirements.
An obvious choice and clearly the right High Speed Door for the application was the Efaflex-STR. This model of High Speed Door is not only the fastest High Speed Door in the world (4 MPS), it is also capable of withstanding wind gusts of up to 120klms/phr. Combining these features with Efaflex’s patented spiral roll technology meant that the door is able to complete a high number of duty cycles with minimal wear and maintenance requirements.
